Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) Information Text
MAVI BEYAZ TATİL TURİZM SAN. VE TİC. LTD. ŞTİ. – MAVI BEYAZ OTEL AYAŞ/MERSİN, as the Data Controller pursuant to the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), hereby informs you, in accordance with Articles 10 (“Data Controller’s Obligation to Inform”) and 11 (“Rights of the Data Subject”) of the KVKK, about the purposes for which your personal data will be processed, to whom and for what purpose your processed personal data may be transferred, the method and legal basis for the collection of your personal data, and your other rights listed in Article 11 of the KVKK.
Purposes of Processing Your Personal Data:
BLUE WHITE HOLIDAY TOURISM INDUSTRY AND TRADE LTD. – Our company, operating in the areas detailed in the Articles of Association of MAVI BEYAZ HOTEL AYAŞ/MERSİN, collects and processes your personal data verbally, in writing, or electronically due to the regulations of the Ministry of Tourism and Revenue Administration and other relevant institutions, as well as the contracts we have entered into. This personal data will be used to provide services related to our company’s business activities and to improve the quality of these services, to carry out our company’s sales, marketing and other activities, and to comply with information storage, reporting, and notification obligations. Furthermore, your personal data may also be used within the scope of studies such as CRM (Customer Relationship Management) applications to improve the quality of the services we provide and for sales and marketing activities. Your personal data will not be used for purposes other than those stated above without your explicit consent, and will not be shared or transferred to third parties except for legal obligations and official institutions/organizations. Our company will only share your personal data with you, our customers, based on the explicit consent of our customers or in other cases foreseen in Article 5/f.2 of the KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law), primarily the legislation we are subject to, in order to provide you with added value. In order to offer valuable services, opportunities and possibilities and to improve service quality, we may share this data with our domestic or foreign subsidiaries and directly or indirectly affiliated companies and joint ventures, or with public institutions or organizations authorized to request this data due to a legal obligation, and, provided that adequate measures are taken, with domestic or foreign institutions, suppliers, authorized dealers/distributors/business partners with whom we have agreements as required by our activities.
Method of Personal Data Collection:
Your personal data may be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically through various channels, including our company, partners, group companies, affiliates, dealers, agents, and solution partners with whom we have cooperation or contractual relationships, in accordance with applicable legislation.
Maintaining the Accuracy and Up-to-Date Status of Your Personal Data:
Those who share their personal data with our company acknowledge and declare that they understand the importance of keeping this information accurate and up-to-date, both in terms of their rights regarding their personal data under the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and other relevant legislation, and that they will be solely responsible for any consequences arising from providing incorrect information. Deletion, Destruction, or Anonymization of Your Personal Data:
Your personal data, processed for the purposes stated in this information text, will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized and continue to be used by us when the purpose requiring processing ceases to exist, in accordance with Article 7/f.1 of the KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law), and after the periods determined by law, in accordance with Article 138 of the Turkish Penal Code.
Measures Regarding the Protection of Personal Data:
The protection of personal data is an important issue for our company. Our company takes the necessary measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access or loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Our company is committed to keeping your personal data confidential, taking all necessary technical and administrative measures and exercising due diligence to ensure privacy and security. Despite our company taking necessary information security measures, in the event that personal data is damaged or falls into the hands of third parties as a result of attacks on the website and system, our company will immediately notify you and the Personal Data Protection Board.
Other Rights Listed in Article 11 of the KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law):
By applying to our company, you have the right to:
a) learn whether your personal data is being processed,
b) request information if it is being processed,
c) learn the purpose of processing and whether it is being used in accordance with its purpose,
d) know the third parties to whom it has been transferred domestically/internationally,
e) request correction if it has been processed incompletely/incorrectly,
f) request its deletion/destruction within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law),
g) request that the third parties to whom it has been transferred be notified of the actions taken in accordance with paragraphs (d) and (d) above,
g) object to a result that is detrimental to you due to analysis exclusively by automated systems,
h) demand compensation for damages if you have suffered damage due to processing in violation of the law.
